The young woman sighed as she sat in the shelter of the bus stop, looking at the area around her. She really wasn't looking forward to this day. In fact, she was dreading it. True, school was already over, and she was on her way home, but there was a big problem. A problem so huge she couldn't avoid it at all no matter how hard she tried. A problem that could never be put to an end, only halted for a while by the natural order of the world. In other words, the rain.
Well, she didn't necessarily hate the rain, despite the dullness of it, the great sense of boredom that came with it at not being able to go out. No, her problem was much different, and it was linked to a secret of hers that she hoped to keep secret from all save those like her. The fact she was a Mage, that is. Normally rain didn't really effect Magic, save Water Magic, but hers was a special Magic. Body Magic. Which meant, if she caught a cold in this rain, all hell would break loose.
"Akiko hopes the bus comes soon..." she muttered. For a moment she wondered why she hadn't gotten the train, although then again she reasoned that the train would be packed full of people, so getting on would be an impossibility. Plus, she only had enough change for the bus. Nonetheless, she waited. Hopefully soon it would come.
