Name: Zain Ve Alfo
Age: 27
Gender Male
Nationality: English
Occupation: Teacher of science (speciality chemistry)
Magic Level S, however has only been seen using A. He wishes people to not know of his real power.
Magic: Alchemy.
Appearance:
Zain stands at about 5”11’ he has quite pale skin with no scare of marks visible to an on looking person. He has short dark hair, a number of people call it purple while Zain himself prefers to call it a light black with a tint of purple. His eyes are a deep blue, these eyes normally project tranquillity but these eyes have been known to hold anger and pain within them.
His body is quite muscular, due to his love for the normal sports such as rugby and judo. He sees it as being important to keep a healthy body, his muscles are apparent but are normally hidden beneath layers of clothing. His features are well defined around his body, his fingers are long and sleek. However the nails are worn as if they were bitten or over worked.
Within the school he is normally seen wearing his white lab cloak, this is much like any other’s however he had taken time to sew on a few things. The first is a single black dragon that wraps around his left arm, the tail ending at the shoulder and the mouth opening up covering the entire sleeve. Upon the back his name is sewn in with thick black letters.
Beneath his white lab coat he wears a sleeveless top, it is a simple white vest with no emblem or sign on it. Upon his legs he wears nothing...okay that is a lie. He wears the normal jeans normally with a small chain that is attached with his key and teacher card (OOC: If there are teacher card thins).
His shoes are simple. If he is wearing any. He will normally wear a pair of Van’s or Osaris, anything he finds beside his door when he walks out.
Personality:
Zain is normally very loud, even compared to students. In the classroom he is normally the loudest of the lot, bizarre when teachers are meant to set a sample. However, when alone or with people of importance he is very calm and relaxed. Examples of these are when he is in teacher meetings or meeting a student’s parent.
Zain has not got a somewhat split personality but can quickly change from being calm to aggressive due to a slight comment such as, “magic is crap.” Something so simple can send him up in flames, however he has a number of rules he never breaks. Even if he is this mood, he may be angry but he is not insain.
These are three simple rules he will never break unless if would save his own life or another person’s of great importance.
When he is focused he is best not to be disturbed, when he is writing up lesson plans or marking homework he prefers not to be disturbed. He takes great pride in his work, even more pride than in his magic. He can be seen as being arrogant, however that is hard to see when he is teaching for he holds and great amount of respect for his students and staff members. Knowing they are all gifted in their own ways.
The only time he becomes arrogant is when someone challanges him personally, of course Zain has lost in many things...chess...duels and in racing Chisato Sakuraba to being principle.
He is normally laid back and enjoys relaxing, lying out in the sun, training or even a fight. He sees these all as relaxing as they get rid of stress, however, he has not had much stress as of late. He has a very strong sense of justice, he believes all criminals should be killed or severally punished at least, this was due to the death of his only friend Alore, and he will often go out to the city to make sure there is no major crime developing. Using his gift to stop it if need be, once again though he never breaks the three rules. His justice can normally make him seem mad, becoming to obsessed with the problems of over people. His parents always said he would be in the forces, perhaps a police officer. Stopping crime from ‘devouring’ the world.
History:
Zain was born and raised in England. Here he learnt of his powers, using them in everyday life and getting to grips with them quickly. His parents were loving but nothing out of the ordinary. He grew up in the south of London, he was seen as a social outcast within his school for the many ‘strange’ things happened around him. He would normally be bullied and pick on by the upper years, until one day it happened.
The beginning of the end
He was age 15, walking home from school by himself. He had just dropped his only friend Alore off at his home and was now making his way home through the woods, walking beside the lake. Then he was jumped, three people. All of them were a year above him and all of them were the people Zain wanted to bump into the least. Quickly a fight begun, resulting on Zain lying on the floor, his face in mud as the boys around him laughed. Anger raged through his blood until it was unleashed, a sudden blast of fire left his body. Hitting all things within ten feet of him, the flames were scorching hot and contained the anger Zain had sealed for many years.
After a few seconds Zain had realised what had happened, scared he rose to his feet looking at the bodies. The corpses were burnt crisp, if they were dead or not Zain did not know and he didn’t waste his time. Turning he begun to run out of the woods. Many of the trees had caught fire and eventually he could hear the fire trucks racing towards the scene.
Repent
That day he got home he washed the blood from his cloths and the ash from his skin. For many days he stayed within his room, catching word of the fire in the woods. It was believed that six people died, three boys and a family of three. For many days Zain cried, he had killed people, not only the bullies but innocents...then he learnt of the family. It was Alore and his parents, he had killed his only friend. For many days he searched for repent, soon finding himself within a church speaking about his crime. The priest listened and spoke of people with powers like Zain’s, he muttered the words magic and how it was a gift from God. The man asked to speak to Zain again, he agreed and the two meet again at the church two weeks from that day.
Learning about the truth
Here Zain learnt about the magic, the man speaking of it like it was nothing. This was when Zain became amazed, using his powers as much as he could, reading the books the man gave him Zain soon begun to understand and gain a great insight to the knowledge.
Zain spent much of his time with the preist, learning about the people of the past and how they first gained their powers. Then the man spoke of a school a school like most within the world however it also helped the people develop their powers. Zain was now however 18 and was not in the mood to go to a new school, he had just finished the schooling in England with straight A’s and A*’s. Showing a large amount of promise in science, mainly chemistry.
Eventually he went off to university and studied chemistry as his major and physics as his minor. Much like secondary school Zain made few friends, focusing most of his time studying and training the new powers, this was when he decided to develop his own. These are however still in the progress of being created to the present day. He ended his time in the university with being the top student for Chemistry and 4th best for physics.
With the degree he went into teaching at the same secondary school he had been taught at. Up to the age of 24 he taught here, also at the same time working on his PhD which took Zain two years to complete. Eventually he gave in his report and was to wait for the table to mark his findings, during this time Zain’s teacher, the priest past away. Zain grieved however did not worry, he knew his friend would go to a better place.
Soon he gained his PhD getting a class two and not a class one. However Zain did not worry, he was now at the top of chemistry, seen as being a fountain of knowledge. Yet there was still more he needed to know, so he applied for Animus High. Soon being taken in he approached for his first day of work.

He was once more waiting in his stance, his eyes never once removing from the woman. The attacks had dealt little damage but that did not matter, his test was a success and soon he will be able to give here a good match. He quickly scanned here with his blue orbs, her robe was getting ruined, why were such a nice dress, perhaps even expensive, to a battle. Did she think she would not get hit, perhaps so but now she had been hit so nothing could change that. He strengthened his knees watching her, the bleeding at the back of his knee was close to stopping; it had taken longer than expected. Perhaps soon he will have to use Shkai, which would help him a great deal, however he would have to wait for him to be near death before that can happen.
‘Such a low level Kido attack is useless against me! And HOW DARE YOU RUIN MY ROBE!’ She seemed quite angry, she did seem to have quite the temper, Zain allowed a laugh to escape his lips. Perhaps she will try harder, maybe even use her Shikai. However, she was right, Zain should not have used a level four Kido on her, he should use much higher and see how it works. She quickly grabbed her robe and threw it off, it would most likely get dirty if it landed on the ground, once again Zain paused for a quite laugh, he was trying to keep it quite, he did not want Maeda to hear it. That was not the only thing that happened, a giant grin appeared on her face from no where, then the words ‘get ready to welcome the end,’ followed here smile. she lifted her hand and placed it upon the blade, Zain was expecting a Kido or for her to release her Shikai, Shikai would seem most likely seeing as she seemed not to use Kido. Then she called out her sword, “Devastate the heavens with your beauty, and honour us with your grace and glory! UGETSU KAGEUCHI!" She was releasing her Shikai, at least now this would be fun, and he smiled, once more strengthening his stance.
The sword was now a very large Dotanuki, the blade was shining with the sun, it was a brilliant blade. It looked as if the weapon had never meet blood, however, Zain was sure it had for a weapon like that would have a great slicing capability. She sheathed her sword, now she was going to attack, if Zain could rid her of that sheath then she would lose the art of Iaidô, or perhaps to an extent. That would indeed make her an easier opponent, but how. Once again she drew her blade, shining even more now, then her mouth moved but no words could be heard. Zain quickly rose his sword higher getting ready for any attack that would come next. Then quickly a mist enveloped the area, the area around could not be seen. Then the light itself from the mid-day sun was finding it hard to penetrate the mist, the area around was now darker and visibility was lower than normal. Zain did not mind he could still feel her Reiatsu. The area around begun to change, trees were simply vanishing and the ground was eroding away into sand. No Shikai could have the power to change a battlefield, not of this size. He had a few ideas, she was really using Bankai but he doubted this as he had never heard that she had it, it was al just an illusion and a strong one at that, or her Shikai could teleport the user and opponent. It was nighttime and a cool breeze was sweeping over the area like a hunter in a woods. He was still sleeveless and could feel how cold the wind was. Zain allowed his eyes to wonder up, it was nighttime and the moon was very bright, he now knew that it was not teleportation, in soul society it was daytime, not night. So it was now either an illusion or she was really using a Bankai. This would not be an interesting battle, Zain sandals were no were to be seen and his feet were touching the ‘sand,’ he clenched his feet getting the feel of the sand, but no it was the same feel as the wood floor. He now knew it was an illusion, he had seen through her move and perhaps the next move would fail now. The ground was the same so the area too must be the same, which was his thoughts, “Zain check the tree, if it is there you can use it, if not then…you will have to meet he in battle.” That was Aka Uma; he too had guessed the power of her weapon. Zain lifted his back foot and placed it were the tree was, he could feel the cold bark on his bare feet, the only problem was would he get a splinter.
She was now sheathing her sword once more, it seemed to go in better than that of late, the weapon was most likely lighter and also sharper than that he had battled before. She begun to dash at Zain, he was ready he had the single tree behind him to help; perhaps she had forgotten it was there and she could run into it, basic but if it worked he would be grateful. Then she split into five, now this was a little scary, one was enough but now four more had joined the battle. “Zain, they too are only illusions, do not worry I know you will see through them.” They quickly surrounded Zain, all laughed. The scary part is they seemed to be in unison, then she spoke, “which witch is which,” that was rather funny, she called herself a witch. They all lunged, but Zain was sure he knew who the real one was, one was real and four were illusions, meaning if he blocked a single attack then he would have a twenty percent chance of blocking the correct one. He did not like those odds at all, however, the real one would have a great deal of Reiatsu while the illusions would have none or very little. He could tell who had the greatest Reiatsu within a micro second, and raised his block to that person, he too tried to dodge the other attacks if wrong but his focus was on the block. The lung was did not work, he was not sure if it was due to the slight dodge or due to the block, still he was not sure who was who. Once more they begun to circle him, he did not mind, he had never been surrounded by so many young women before, he let out a small laugh as they once more begun to attack. He rose to block one attack, while once more dodging, he was still in one piece so he did not mind. However, he celebrated to soon, he had sliced rather deep in his back shoulder, it was his left side but still it hurt. One ducked down for his knee, no way was that happening, he brought his sword back about to block the attack where he saw an attack coming from the front, aiming for his throat or his clavicle, he did not care for his knee the front attack was more important. He blocked it, a quick clang of metal and the excitement of battle pulsed through his veins.
Visibility was getting better and the mist seemed to becoming thinner, was she stopping it at her own accord or was there a limit to how long she could hold it? His attacks jumped back, now they were lined up under the moon, there faces seemed to be polished by the dm light from the moon, they seemed some what unreal for a few seconds. They once more sheathed their swords and returned to their stance, once more getting lower, this happened every time they went into the stance. Perhaps it meant something, perhaps not, however Zain would have to be careful form now on. She was exerting a great deal of spiritual pressure in the area; it was a strong force it was equal to about a large cart. Now it was his turn, she had used her Shikai, maybe Bankai, now it was his turn to attack with his Shikai.
He stood up and raised his sword to the moon; the blade seemed sharp so he was happy. “Sprint Aka Uma,” that would be the phrase to activate his weapon, quickly his weapon changed, the blade begun to turn inwards and the handle begun to move upwards, it was now a long pole, the shin could have blinded someone. Zain ran his right index finger from the bottom to the top feeling the ever-changing weapon. At that moment a blade emerged at the top and a roll of red horse mane fell from the top and bottom of the weapon. It was a Naginata, one of his most loved weapons of all time. It was now his chance, he would no longer act like a mere child and everything would be full out, well close to he was not yet and full power.
Zain threw the weapon up and grabbed it in both hand, it was much lighter now and Zain would be bale to move faster. He dashed towards the target, moving left and right all the time, his shunpo was faster now, perhaps not a great deal but it was still faster, he was about twenty feet away when he called out. “Carriage of thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six.” This was one of his strongest Kidos, he had only used it a few times before and the last time he used the same kido it resulted in him fainting and using the store. The Kido was slightly altered; normally it would slam six bars of light into a single target and stop them from moving however now he was planning on slamming the bars of light into all of them grouping them together. If that worked he would then go for a slight slice to the opponents chest, neck and arm. Striking all with his now improved accuracy, he was hoping for a deep cut but even a light wound would bring a smile to his face.
However, if the bars of light were to fail then he would begin to circle the opponent, changing direction every now and then to confuse the opponent, many times even feinting an attack to draw the guard. For this he would attack the person with the highest concentration of Reiatsu. Then striking at the opponent ankles or forearms, he would be aiming to make a deep incision but a small cut would also make Aka Uma proud so he was not to fussed. However, now the words of victory were coursing through his veins and this was the only thing he wished for.
